I can confirm that Matthias will not be participating on the next SuidAkrA album. After the Summerbreeze festival, it was decided by the band as a whole that it would be best for everyone if Matthias stepped down from his position in the band. Matthias will therefore play his last SuidAkrA show at the Bloodstock festival next weekend. After this decision was made, the band contacted their former guitarist/singer, and much to their surprise (and the surprise of many fans, no doubt!), Marcel is willing and able to rejoin SuidAkrA as a full-time member! You'll be able to catch Marcel on stage with the others at the remaining SuidAkrA shows after Bloodstock. SuidAkrA will then take a break from touring until mid-2006, in order to concentrate 100% on the songwriting for the next album. (Bandhomepage)
